Syed Saddiq says repeatedly threatened with criminal charges, insists would rather go court tomorrow than join Perikatan

KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 — Opposition MP Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman tonight declared that he would choose to go to court instead of joining the ruling coalition Perikatan Nasional (PN).
His team had tonight notified the media that he has been summoned to be present at the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow morning following an investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
In a brief message about his court appearance tomorrow, Syed Saddiq on Twitter wrote that the truth will always prevail.
“Berani kerana benar. It is in moments like this that I am reminded why I joined Politics. Truth will always prevail.
“Saya lebih rela masuk mahkamah dari masuk Perikatan Nasional. Bring it on!” he said in the tweet, with the sentence in Malay roughly meaning that he would rather go to court than join Perikatan Nasional.
