KOTA KINABALU: Netizens took to a social media posting by an Austrian minister to vent their “frustrations and anger” at international trade and industry minister Azmin Ali.
Austrian federal minister for digital and economic affairs Margarete Schramböck had shared on her Facebook page the meeting she had with Azmin yesterday, thanking her Malaysian counterpart for the visit and also expressed the country’s interest in working closely in future.
But Malaysians, seemingly Azmin detractors, flooded her thread, being cordial and respectful towards Schramböck but warning her to be wary of the former PKR deputy president.
“Hope you can school him or you can take him forever to your country,” a netizen, under the name Khairil Hazwan Hamzah, posted.
Sathia Murthy also told the Austrian minister: “He is currently in the midst of a homeless crisis in his own party and he has this special ability of hopping — he may hop to your party in future.”
