Full Version: Is it worth getting commercial vents cleaned regularly?

I manage a mid-sized cafe, and over the past year we’ve been dealing with stronger kitchen odors and uneven airflow. The staff mentioned it sometimes feels stuffy even when the fans are running. I know the vents probably collect grease and dust, but I’m not sure how often we should bring in a professional service. Is this something that really makes a noticeable difference for a business, or just another added expense?
I want the place to feel comfortable for both staff and customers, but I don’t want to spend money on something that doesn’t bring real value. Would be great to hear from someone who’s actually done it.
I recently noticed that the dryer vents at our facility were getting clogged, which slowed down our laundry operations and felt risky. I called a team specializing in commercial vent cleaning, and they came in to clean everything thoroughly. The difference was immediate — the dryers worked faster, used less energy, and I felt much safer. They were professional, efficient, and explained everything clearly, so now I schedule regular maintenance. It has made running our facility much smoother and stress-free.
