PETALING JAYA: Vaccine minister Khairy Jamaluddin has been urged to reveal the full details of the RM70 million allocated for the national immunisation programme’s (PICK) data integration and appointment system.
Kampung Tunku assemblyman Lim Yi Wei said Khairy should reveal the vendor, project manager, lead tech and developer behind the PICK system, and also provide details on the firm’s credentials.
She also asked how much of the RM70 million had been spent so far and why the Covid-19 vaccine supply access guarantee special committee (JKJAV)’s hotline and email helpdesk were not responding to the public.
“Vaccines are a life-saving right. Regardless of the RM70 million being a ceiling (price), the people deserve answers. Reveal the website tender details now,” the DAP assemblyman said in a statement today.
