I currently working with an IMAP server and need a tool or method to efficiently extract attachments from emails. After researching, I came across the IMAP Attachment Extractor, but I facing some challenges in using it. Has anyone successfully used this tool? Could you provide a step-by-step guide or tips on how to extract email attachments effectively?
I recently had to get a lot of email files off of an IMAP server and was looking for the same thing you did. After some study, I found Softaken IMAP Attachment Extractor. The tool saved me a lot of time and helped me do things more quickly.

If you're having trouble using it, I've included a step-by-step guide to make it easy for you to get the files.
  • Download and install the tool. Open it after installation.
  • You will be asked for the IMAP server details, like email address, password, IMAP server address and port number.
  • Fill in all the details correctly and click on "Authenticate me."
  • Then click on the "Browse" button and select the location where you want to save the attachments.
  • After setting everything, click on the "Export Attachment Now" button.

Attachments are set in order by the email they came from, which makes it easy to find them later. You don't need Outlook or any other email app to use this tool, which is great. The IMAP server is where everything happens. There is also a free trial version of the program that you can use to see how well it works. You can get help from their support team 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
