hp printer not printing black if the printhead is dirty. So, you should clean it and then use 
the automated printhead cleaning option. Another resolution is to print with only the color 
cartridge. Printing in a single cartridge mode often helps resolve this issue. Go to the 
advanced printer settings and change it to black or grayscale.
